Wedding Video FAQ/Important Information

Thank you for your interest in our wedding video production services.  Please read the following FAQ before contacting us.

01

After you contact us, we will tentatively hold your wedding date for one week to give you time to think it over and discuss it with your fiancé/fiancée/parents, etc.   If we do not hear back from you within one week from the initial call or email, we will assume that you are not interested in hiring us.  If you should contact us with the intention of hiring us for that date after the one week has lapsed, we will be happy to shoot your wedding provided that no one has booked that date in the interim.

02

The absolute latest that we can book a wedding is one week prior to the wedding date—and we can almost guarantee that we will not be available if you wait until then to hire us.  If you are interested in hiring us, please book us as soon as possible.

03

If you are wondering how many hours you should book for your wedding, please take a look at our sample timelines page.  These timelines are based on weddings that we have shot in the past, and this should give you an idea of what package would work best for your wedding.

04

The minimum amount of hours that can be booked is four hours. We will not book weddings that call for less than four hours of work.

05

Our wedding videos usually run from 90 minutes to two hours.  The entire wedding ceremony is presented, and, depending upon package booked, most or all of the reception is presented.  The length of the wedding video depends on the length of the ceremony.

06

The raw footage of the wedding is available separately on a DVD or a thumb drive that will accompany the edited wedding video.  We do not offer "raw footage only/we will edit the footage ourselves" packages.  Please contact us for more information.

07

In the event that the reception is being held on a later date than the wedding ceremony, and the clients want both wedding and reception covered, we will charge clients an additional fee consisting of 50 percent of their booked package’s base price.  Please contact us for more information.

08

For the standard packages, the clock starts ticking at either the start of the wedding ceremony or the first look.  For the premium packages, the clock starts ticking when we start filming the bride or groom getting ready or first look.  If you are getting married at a venue that is separate from the wedding reception, we hit the "pause" button for the time that passes between the end of the wedding ceremony and the start of the reception, and you will not be charged for the "down" time.  Accordingly, we will not shoot any footage during the "down" time.  "Down" time is limited to one hour; for example, if your wedding ceremony is at a church that starts at 1 PM, ends at 2 PM, and your reception begins at 5 PM, you cannot exclude the one hour between 4 PM and 5 PM for "down" time.  The one hour of "down" time is reserved for the time it takes to break down the cameras at the church, load up the car, and travel to the reception venue.  Please contact us for more information.
