Sample Timelines

Not sure what package works for you?  Worried about the number of hours that you will need for your wedding?  Here are some sample timelines based on weddings that we have shot. 

The times listed in the scenarios below are based on weddings that we have shot in the past.  It is merely a hypothetical guide to allow you to best decide what package works best for you.  If you have any questions, please email me.

Select Wishes/Select Delights Sample Timelines (Four hours)

Select Wishes

Scenario One

 Wedding and Reception are held at same location.

  • 3--5 PM -- First Look, formal pictures, guest candids

  • 5--5:30 PM -- Wedding Ceremony

  • 5:30--6:30 PM -- Cocktail Hour/Camera Setup*

  • 6:30--7 PM -- Grand entrance, first dances, toasts, and speeches

Scenario Two

 Wedding and Reception are held at same location.

  • 5-5:30 PM -- Wedding Ceremony

  • 5:30--6:30 PM -- Cocktail Hour/Camera Setup*

  • 6:30--7 PM -- Grand entrance, first dances, toasts, and speeches

  • 7--9 PM -- Cake cutting, bouquet and garter toss, candid dancing photos, best wishes

Scenario Three

 Wedding and Reception are held at different locations.

  • 1--2:00 PM -- Wedding Ceremony

  • 2--3:00 PM --1 hour break for traveling (applicable only to weddings where the reception and wedding ceremony are being held at different locations)

  • 3--6 PM--formal pictures, cocktail hour/camera setup*, grand entrance, first dances, and toasts

 Wedding and Reception are held at same location and "getting ready" option has been selected.

  • 11 AM -- 3 PM -- Bride and groom getting ready

  • 3--5 PM -- First Look, formal pictures, guest candids

  • 5--5:30 PM -- Wedding Ceremony

  • 5:30--6:30 PM -- Cocktail Hour/Camera Setup*

*It takes about 30-40 minutes to move and set up the cameras during the time between the end of the wedding ceremony and the start of the wedding reception.  Because of this please do not contact us with a "well, we're not doing a cocktail hour, so we can have an extra hour?" request.  If you have any other questions, please contact us.
